Spurs vs. Luton Town: Preview, predictions, and lineups

Tottenham’s quest to qualify for the Champions League resumes on Saturday afternoon, when they play relegation-threatened Luton Town.

Ange Postecoglou’s team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Fulham before the March international break, one of their poorest performances of the season, but a win over the Hatters would bring them level on points with top-four opponents Aston Villa.

Nottingham Forest‘s points deduction has improved Luton’s chances of avoiding relegation. However, Rob Edwards’ team is only one point away from the bottom three and has a lot of work to do before the end of the season.

Here’s a look at Tottenham vs Luton Town in Gameweek 30.

Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessegnon, and Manor Solomon are all still out due to injuries, but Richarlison, who came off the bench against Fulham after being unused by Brazil against England and Spain, might play.

Tottenham vs. Luton Town score prediction

Tottenham’s inconsistency must be addressed if they are to defeat Villa and Manchester United and qualify for the Champions League. They suffered a crushing defeat against Fulham, but Postecoglou has since spent a significant amount of time with many of his squad members as he seeks to return Spurs to winning ways.

Luton are capable of frustrating any Premier League team, but given Edwards’ problems, it’s difficult to see the Hatters coming away with anything from this meeting.

Spurs should have too much talent for their opponents on Saturday.

Prediction: Tottenham 3–1 Luton Town
