Spurs willing to sell as 23-year-old seeks clarity on Tottenham’s future

Bryan Gil wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Following an outstanding career at Sevilla, the North London club paid roughly £21 million to sign Gil back in 2021, with Erik Lamela joining the Spanish club in exchange. The 23-year-old dynamic attacker was supposed to have a promising career at Tottenham, but that has not been the case.

According to GiveMeSport, Gil has failed to establish his place in the club’s first squad and is now looking for clarity on his future there. The Spanish international wants to leave Tottenham, and the club is willing to let him to do so.

After failing to make an impression since joining the club in 2021, he returned to Spain in early 2022 for a brief loan spell with Valencia. While he was a member of Tottenham‘s team for the first half of the 2022/23 season, he returned to Sevilla in the winter of 2023 for another loan spell.

The 23-year-old has decided to continue with the North London club for the 2023/24 season. After receiving little opportunities in the first half of the season, Gil had the option of leaving on loan, but he chose to battle for a spot in the club.

Bryan Gil should play more often.

Unfortunately, he has only made 11 appearances and played 221 minutes for the first team this season. The Spanish attacker’s lack of playing time has irritated him, and he is now seeking clarity about his future. The 23-year-old is looking for a move away from the club, and Spurs are reportedly willing to sell him this summer.

Meanwhile, Feyenoord are interested in his services and hope to recruit the versatile forward, who can play on both flanks and as an attacking midfielder, on a permanent basis this summer.
