Following his victory as the League’s Player of the Month, Crysencio Summerville posted on Instagram, receiving commendation from Ryan Gravenberch of Liverpool and Micky van de Ven of Tottenham.
22-year-old Summerville has excelled for Leeds this year. Summerville has participated in 12 Championship games and contributed to 10 goals, including six goals scored and four goals created. Last month, the Dutch star was blazing.
The winger rested after Leeds‘ 1-0 loss to Stoke in October despite playing five times for the team, only starting four of those games. Despite this, Summerville managed to rack up eight goals and three assists, scoring five of them.
Along with three other Championship players, Summerville was nominated for the award: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall of Leicester, Perry Ng of Cardiff, and Vaclav Hladky of Ipswich.
However, it was revealed on Friday that Summerville had won Player of the Month, which was well-deserved following a fantastic month. The Instagram photo of the tiny celebrity with the trophy was shared.
Stars from Liverpool and Tottenham laud Crysencio Summerville.
Summerville is now regarded as one of the first names on the squad sheet, right up there with players like Joel Piroe, Illan Meslier, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, and Georginio Rutter. He is essential to us.
