Kalvin Phillips sends message to Archie Gray after Leeds United’s victory over Leicester City.
Gray scored his first senior goal for the club in Friday’s (February 23) thrilling win over the Championship leaders at Elland Road. It was first ruled an own goal after a strong deflection off Leicester defender Wout Faes, but Gray quickly claimed it. The 17-year-old shared an image of himself celebrating on his own Instagram account [24 February] with the caption: “9 wins in a row! Great way to achieve my first goal! “We keep moving.“ Phillips, a former Leeds player who is presently on loan at West Ham from Manchester City, responded: “Wonderboy!!!” Kalvin Phillips has been linked with a return to Leeds United.
