The 30-year-old Leeds United star is now ‘pushing’ to join a new club; the Whites are open to a deal

Robin Koch became the first of Leeds United’s loan players to leave permanently, and it appears that another is not far behind.

Koch signed a four-year contract with Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this week after being permitted to negotiate with teams about a permanent transfer, with his contract at Leeds expiring in the summer.

The 27-year-old impressed during the first part of the season for the Bundesliga club, so they were eager to sign him as quickly as possible.

Diego Llorente, Koch’s former centre-back partner, could be poised to follow him out the permanent exit door. It was rumoured earlier this week that PSG are interested in signing him this month, and there is now some new information.

According to Foot Mercato, Llorente’s representatives have asked AS Roma to shorten his loan so he can transfer to Paris.

Llorente has expressed interest in joining PSG.
According to reports, Leeds is ‘not opposed’ to these current developments and would be willing to help Llorente secure a permanent transfer elsewhere.

Despite being a regular starter for Jose Mourinho this season, Roma are open to terminate his loan early if they can find a competent replacement this month.

PSG is thought to be willing to pay a bigger sum than Roma’s clause fee in order to complete the deal during the current transfer window, as they seek a replacement for the injured Milan Skriniar.

Given that Leeds are allegedly unlikely to welcome back any of their loan players regardless of whether they are promoted this season, this is extremely positive, if unexpected, news at Elland Road.

It will be interesting to see how the Llorente deal develops over the following few days, but it appears like all parties are willing to make it happen.
