The manager is not shocked that- A Leeds United player has suffered another injury setback; an attacker has also been ruled out.

A Leeds United player has been injured again, while a Whites attacker has also been overlooked.

Leeds have six players on loan at European clubs, with Robin Koch and Max Wober starting every game for Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach, respectively, since leaving. Koch started at center-back for Eintracht Frankfurt in their 2-0 loss to Wolfsburg on Saturday, dropping them to seventh in the Bundesliga.

Wober also started for Monchengladbach, who had a league visit to Bochum and won 3-2, with the outgoing Leeds centre-back playing the entire game as his club climbed up to 13th place.

Brenden Aaronson has struggled to get starts at Union Berlin, and the midfielder was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Heidenheim. Aaronson has made three starts and three substitute appearances for 11th-placed Union since coming on loan.

Marc Roca is United’s lone loanee in Spain, where he plays for Real Betis against Valencia on Sunday night in La Liga. Roca started the first seven games of his new team’s season before dropping to the bench for Thursday night’s 1-1 draw at Granada, where he came on as an 81st-minute substitute.

Meanwhile, Rasmus Kristensen and Diego Llorente are on loan at Serie A side Roma, but Llorente suffered an injury blow in Thursday night’s 4-1 defeat at Genoa, coming off midway through the first half of a game in which Kristensen played the entire game.

Llorente will now allegedly be out for the next two weeks due to a right hip flexor issue. Following the Genoa loss, Roma manager Jose Mourinho stated, as quoted by AS Roma‘s official website: “Diego has a history of fitness issues – he frequently suffers from muscle injuries.” He’s played three games in a row, so it’s not a big surprise to me.”

Roma return to action on Sunday evening when they host Frosinone at home. Llorente has started every game for Roma this season, while Kristensen has only started five.
