The “superstar” of Tottenham has had offers from rival teams in the Premier League and is eager to depart.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has received offers from unnamed Premier League clubs and is now considering them.

Spurs may yet bring in a new midfielder before the window shuts next week, but there are still a handful of their own players who could depart. Gil is one of them, and Tottenham’s Premier League opponents are apparently interested in him.

Tottenham’s Bryan Gil has had offers from Premier League clubs.

Tottenham signed Bryan Gil from Sevilla in a player-plus-cash swap in 2021, with Erik Lamela moving in the opposite direction.
The Spaniard was widely regarded as one of his country’s most promising young talents at the time.

After more than two and a half years at Tottenham, it’s reasonable to say that things haven’t gone well for Gil, and he’s been linked with a move away from North London.

Lazio is one of the clubs believed to be interested in Gil, but Corriere dello Sport reports this week that the 22-year-old is presently being courted by many Premier League clubs.

They report that ‘Gil aspires to move’ this window and is presently examining offers from Spurs’ competitors in England’s top flight.
Ben Jacobs said last week that Brentford considered signing Gil, but nothing has occurred.

Gil may depart Spurs in the next days.

After Ange Postecoglou arrived last summer, there were some who predicted Bryan Gil would explode at Tottenham because he is better suited to an offensive system.

However, the young Spaniard, dubbed a’superstar’ by Graham Roberts, missed the opening seven games of the season due to injury and has since made only two Premier League starts.

Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison, Brennan Johnson, and now Timo Werner all rank ahead of Gil in the pecking order, and that is unlikely to alter in the second half of the season.

That’s undoubtedly why Gil wants to go this month, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he moves before next week’s transfer deadline.
