The West Ham United player could leave in January, resolving one of Leeds United’s major issues

It’s no surprise that Leeds United’s problem position is left-back, and Daniel Farke will be looking to bring in a new left-back in January – West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell could be available.

In recent weeks, Sam Byram and Junior Firpo have been injured. Djed Spence has been filling in on the wrong side, while Jamie Shackleton has also played on the left flank despite suffering an injury.

Due to those injuries, Farke told the media that he knew he needed a left-back in January, even before Firpo and Byram suffered new injuries. Leeds will almost certainly look to the Premier League for new players.

Tottenham is already on the radar, with two players on loan from the North London club. However, if you want to stay in the capital, West Ham‘s Cresswell is available. Paul Brown told Give Me Sport that he was considering leaving West Ham.

“I don’t think he’s looking to leave, but he’ll want to play for a team that can give him regular minutes.” If he doesn’t get that by January, it might be best for all parties if he moves.”

Leeds should consider signing West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell.

Cresswell is 34 years old, but he is still a Premier League-caliber left-back. Aside from a recognised left-back, Leeds have been lacking in set-piece quality this season. Goals and assistance.

Leeds had to score a near-perfect goal while breaking down low blocks. Daniel Farke requires a player who can score the odd goal or provide a cross from a set-piece to score in a different method.

Cresswell is capable of doing so. He’s only played 250 minutes of football in five games this season, and if a team comes in for him, you’d think he’d be let go. His contract will expire in June 2024.
