“They can win it,” asserts Jose Mourinho, referencing Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur will try to make a big comeback the following year after almost missing out on Champions League qualification this past season.

Now that the North London team appears to be a steady project and is trying to bolster its roster with fresh acquisitions in the upcoming weeks, former manager Jose Mourinho has showered admiration on them.
According to Mourinho, Spurs will compete in the UEFA Europa League the next season and stand a decent chance of taking home the trophy.

To TNT Sports (via TBR Football), he added, “I have an idea, Tottenham. Tottenham is constantly striving to finish in the top four, which would be fantastic. If they finish in the top four, fifth, and sixth, they would undoubtedly win the Europa League the following season.

You can sense their stability, increased investment, fantastic club, first-rate facilities, and breathtaking stadium. I’m not really sure, Chelsea.

Under Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham had shown promise in the previous season and assembled an intriguing team. There’s no reason they can’t go for major trophies this summer with the appropriate acquisitions.

It would be intriguing to watch if Tottenham can strengthen their roster the following season by filling the holes in their roster during the summer transfer window. The team and the supporters would both benefit greatly from winning the Europa League.

Tottenham hopes to break their trophy drought next season as they haven’t won a significant trophy in a long time. Undoubtedly, the team has made strides under the Australian management, but it is still unclear if they will be able to compete at the highest level in Europe.

The North London team will have a tough time winning the Premier League, and they will need to make significant roster improvements to stand a chance against Manchester City and Arsenal. On the other hand, a knockout event will be simpler to win. Whether they can advance far in the Europa League this upcoming season is still up in the air.
