Tottenham: A journalist makes a ‘interesting’ remark about Richarlison and Toney.

Tottenham Hotspur will now have to find a solution this summer without Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur must adjust to life without Harry Kane, and in an interview with GIVEMESPORT, journalist Paul Brown made an intriguing assertion concerning Richarlison and Ivan Toney.

It remains to be seen if they find a solution internally or attempt to bring in a new striker, but Toney could be an option.

Tottenham Hotspur transfer updates –
Kane‘s departure to Bayern Munich was confirmed earlier this month, leaving Ange Postecoglou‘s team much weaker given the impact he made in a Spurs shirt.

According to Transfermarkt, the England international scored 280 goals in 435 games for the north London side, while also giving 64 assists.

Postecoglou started Richarlison through the middle in Spurs‘ first Premier League game against Brentford, but the Brazilian has struggled during his tenure at Hotspur Way.

Even with Kane, the capital club finished outside the European places last season, so climbing the table without him may be difficult.

Spurs may be planning to sign a high-profile striker to replace Kane, and a deal for Brentford striker Toney has been considered internally, according to The Athletic.

Toney, on the other hand, is now serving an eight-month ban for violating betting rules, which will keep him out until January.

Now, journalist Brown has speculated on the possibility of Toney joining Spurs during the summer transfer window.

What did Brown have to say about Tottenham and Toney?
Brown believes that bringing in Toney to compete with Richarlison, or perhaps to play up top with the former Everton player, would be exciting for Spurs.

However, the writer adds that there are doubts over whether Toney, who is worth roughly £30 million according to Transfermarkt, will be fit and ready to return to action and make an immediate impact in January.

“If he came back the same player he was before the ban, it would be a good bit of business for Spurs,” he told GIVEMESPORT. There’s just the question of whether he’ll still be the same player.

“Will it have had an effect on him mentally?” How fit will he be as a result of not playing much? Will it take him some time to catch up? There are a lot of unanswered questions about Toney.

“In theory, it could be a really interesting signing for Spurs, and I think Toney and Richarlison competing with or even playing alongside each other at times would be quite exciting potentially for Spurs.”

Who else may Tottenham bring in at the start?
Spurs have already begun talks to recruit Gent striker Gift Orban, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, who spoke to GIVEMESPORT.

In 49 senior games for the Belgian club, the Nigerian attacker has 44 goals.

According to Italian media, Spurs could make a surprise deal for Arsenal attacker Folarin Balogun.

You’d think the Gunners would need a lot of persuasion to send one of their young players over north London to join their rivals.
