Tottenham are interested in a 26-year-old defender who has recently kept six consecutive clean sheets.

Tottenham Hotspur have rekindled their interest in Gleison Bremer ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports.

According to the Italian publication Calciomercato, Tottenham“remain on the lookout” for the Juventus defender.

In addition to Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in Bremer, who has been a standout for the Serie A giants.

Spurs have found themselves in a defensive crisis, highlighting a lack of depth in their ranks.

Micky van de Ven strained his hamstring against Chelsea on Monday night, and Cristian Romero is suspended.

With that in mind, Tottenham Hotspur may look to bolster their ranks in January in order to maintain their momentum towards a top-four finish.

Meanwhile, Bremer has gone from strength to strength at Juventus, making a name for himself.

His efforts have contributed to the Bianconeri keeping six consecutive clean sheets in Serie A, and eight overall this season.

Bremer was named Serie A Defender of the Year in 2022, and he was named to their Team of the Season last season.

He’s an elite ball presser, excels at recovery, interceptions, and aerial duels, and is dangerous on the other end of the pitch.

Bremer, according to FTB, is a “true Serie A defender.” He can easily tackle, intercept, and clear the ball.’

In terms of Tottenham connections, Bremer works for the same agency that represents five Tottenham first-team players.
