Tottenham Hotspur are now the most likely club to sign a £30 million winger.

Tottenham Hotspur will try to get a new winger this summer.

A number of Tottenham’s current wide players have questionable futures at the club, and the team needs to strengthen such positions with fresh signings.

Tottenham, like last year, could potentially want to sign one of Nottingham Forest’s intriguing wide players.

Indeed, Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with Tottenham in recent days, and The Sun reports that Spurs are winning the battle to sign him.

Tottenham are the favourites to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi.

According to The Sun, the Spurs are leading a three-way contest to sign Hudson-Odoi this summer.

It’s unknown who the other two clubs are, but Sky Sports recently reported that the competing interest is from within the Premier League.

Despite this competing interest, Spurs are seen as favourites. However, Hudson-Odoi won’t be cheap.

Indeed, despite just joining Nottingham Forest for £3 million last summer, Hudson-Odoi’s valuation is currently estimated to be about £30 million.

Hudson-Odoi may be better staying

Hudson-Odoi’s career appears to be getting back on track at Nottingham Forest, and he should consider staying for another season.

Indeed, prior to joining Forest, Hudson-Odoi was a bench player at a top club, where his growth stalled and his worth dropped.

Now, he’s back on track, but after only one season, he’s being linked with a move to Tottenham, where, with all due respect, he won’t be a starter.

If Hudson-Odoi joined Spurs, he’d be practically back where he started, in the same circumstance he was in at Chelsea, which, as everyone witnessed, isn’t beneficial for the player.

Hudson-Odoi may prefer to spend another year as a huge fish in a small pond before moving on to a club like Tottenham and attempting to kick on again.
