According to their sources, the North London club has been closely following Evanilson’s performances, impressed by his precision finishing and overall play.

Tottenham are not alone in their pursuit of the 24-year-old; Newcastle United, another English team, has also been keeping an eye on the target man.

The Fluminense youth product signed a five-year contract with Porto in the summer of 2020 for a fee of €8.8 million.

Since his arrival, Evanilson has steadily increased his goal total and is presently having his greatest goal-scoring season.

The Brazilian international has 24 goals and 6 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions this season.

His outstanding record extends beyond domestic competitions, as he has also had an impact in the Champions League, scoring four goals and contributing an assist in seven games.

Evanilson has 59 goals and 20 assists in 152 games for the Portuguese club, demonstrating his consistency and playmaking ability.

Given the player’s current form, Porto have set a price tag of roughly £60 million for him, despite their wish to keep him at Estadio do Dragao.

Evanilson might replace his countryman Richarlison as the frontline leader under Ange Postecoglou if SpuAnge Postecoglours opt to move the former Everton player.

Richarlison has been linked with a transfer away, with sources claiming that Tottenham will sell him if they receive an attractive offer.

With Newcastle’s interest, Daniel Levy would need to act quickly, as Evanilson might be a potential replacement to Harry Kane.
