Tottenham is interested in a 27-year-old La Liga star who is regarded as “one of the best” in his position.

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino.

The 27-year-old Spanish international has established himself as a crucial player for the La Liga club, and according to Fichajes, he is ‘considered one of the greatest’ midfielders in the country.

Tottenham is interested in bringing him in as a midfield partner for Yves Bissouma and . Merino will provide defensive strength and control in the middle of the pitch.
