Bryan Gil is a target for clubs, as he has been for much of January and seemingly every transfer window since joining Tottenham.
The Spaniard has been connected with several clubs in Spain as well as Fiorentina in Italy, while Lazio has recently renewed their interest in the winger.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Gil was first pursued by Maurizio Sarri’s side in the summer, and he may now be ‘leaving again’.
The 22-year-old is ‘out of the plans’ at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou, and the idea is Spurs are now ‘willing to let him go out on loan’, and they could possibly allow an option to buy with the transaction.
They consider Gil as a ‘talent waiting for the perfect situation’, with the London club initially investing €25 million to sign him, an investment that hasn’t paid off.
Sarri is believed to ‘appreciate his technical skills’ and was ‘convinced’ that the Tottenham star could be someone he can get the most out of in the future.
That notion continues to this day, and there is hope that a deal may be reached as Lazio searches for reinforcements for their offensive.
