Tottenham makes the MOST money of any Premier League club per match

According to the UEFA survey, only two teams are ahead of them in Europe… but where do Manchester United and Liverpool rank?

According to a UEFA analysis, Tottenham makes the most money per match of any Premier League club.

The governing body released a financial report earlier this week, and it’s particularly good news for the north London team.

According to financial analyst Kieran Maguire, Spurs earn €5.6 million (£4.8 million) per matchday after deducting gate revenue and money spent by supporters, as well as the expense of hosting matches.

These stats demonstrate the benefits Spurs have received since moving into their new 62,850-seater stadium in 2019, making it the largest Premier League stadium in England.

According to Deloitte’s Football Money League, Spurs are now London’s richest club, surpassing Arsenal and Chelsea as a result of hosting NFL games and concerts for stars such as Beyonce.

Under chairman Daniel Levy, Spurs have benefited from moving into their new stadium in 2019.

The north London team earns £4.8 million per matchday, according to the UEFA statistics.

The data reveal that Barcelona and PSG are the two clubs in Europe that make more money (original values in Euros).

It has now been established that they are also making astronomical profits from their home football games.

The UEFA analysis examined clubs from Europe’s top five divisions and discovered that just two teams earn more per game than Tottenham.

Barcelona leads the rankings, earning €7.6 million (£6.5 million) every game, while PSG comes in second, earning €6.6 million (£5.6 million) per match.

Arsenal (£4.2 million) is the next Premier League team on the list after Tottenham, coming in fifth position just behind Bayern Munich (£4.4 million).

Manchester United and Liverpool are seventh and eighth, respectively, with Real Madrid ahead of them in sixth.

AC Milan and Atletico Madrid complete the top ten, with three other English clubs in the top fifteen in terms of revenue.

Chelsea may be struggling on the pitch under Mauricio Pochettino, but they remain 12th on the UEFA rankings, just one place ahead of defending Premier League winners Manchester City in 13th.

Manchester United is just seventh in UEFA’s rankings, behind Tottenham and Arsenal.

Liverpool is in ninth place, while Chelsea and Manchester City are outside the top ten.

Another London club, West Ham, is 15th, ahead of Serie A powerhouse Juventus.

UEFA’s study also included information on the most expensive squads constructed in Europe.

It discovered that United spent the most on transfer fees before to the conclusion of the 2023 fiscal year, spending a stunning £1.2 billion, which did not include the hefty sums paid for Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount, and Andre Onana last summer.

City and Chelsea made it an all-Premier League top three, with Real Madrid finishing fourth.
