Tottenham might still defeat PSG and Bayern Munich to acquire a player for £50 million

According to Jones, Doue is being pursued by PSG and Bayern Munich, but Spurs believe they have an advantage because they can provide him with a speedier road to first-team play.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking for a new attacking player this summer.

Eberechi Eze has just been linked, but the most intriguing speculation of the summer thus far has been around Desire Doue.

Rennes’ star is regarded as one of the next big things in French football, and he is garnering attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Dean Jones has spoken on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast on Doue’s future and the race to sign him.

Jones explained what he knows about the £50 million player.

“If he leaves, he’ll have to choose between Bayern Munich and PSG,” Sky Germany reports. Tottenham has also expressed interest, and they believe they can provide him with a quicker path into the first team, which could give them an advantage,” Jones said.

“While Sky say it’s between Bayern and PSG maybe keep an eye on Tottenham in the background on that one,” Jones suggested.
PSG and Bayern Munich are formidable opponents in any transfer war, but Spurs have recently demonstrated their ability to win such contests.

Remember that in the January transfer window, Spurs defeated Bayern Munich to acquire Radu Dragusin and defeated Barcelona to acquire Lucas Bergvall.

Tottenham is a significant player in the transfer market, and maybe they can close this deal if they present Doue with the right kind of proposal.

Doue is expected to sign with a premier European club this summer.
