TOTTENHAM READY TO STEP UP CONTRACT TALKS WITH ‘UNBELIEVABLE’ £22 MILLION PLAYER

Tottenham Hotspur are set to advance contract discussions with club captain Son Heung-min.

HITC Football reports that Spurs are ready to go forward with the £22 million striker following another successful season for the South Korean international.

The 31-year-old’s contract expires at the end of 2025, but HITC knows that negotiations for a new deal have been ongoing since last summer.

Son Heung-min

Tottenham have seen a blooming relationship between Son Heung-min and manager Ange Postecoglou, and HITC Football has learned that Son is enjoying life under the Australian, which is a crucial component in his desire to stay.

Keeping the forward has been one of Tottenham’s top priorities this summer.

Tottenham are ready to move forward with contract talks with Son.

Tottenham‘s ‘unbelievable’ forward has been a vital component since joining the club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.

He’s approaching 300 Premier League appearances for the club and should hit that mark before the end of the season.

Maddison and Co.

Son and Harry Kane had a record-breaking connection for years, scoring 47 goals for each other in the league.

However, while England‘s all-time best goal scorer may have moved on, Son has not.
He’s already tallied the same number of league assists this season and surpassed his goal total with 11 games remaining.

Given Son’s importance to the team, it’s not surprising that Tottenham wants to go forward with contract talks.

He is a major member of Ange Postecoglou‘s leadership team, along with James Maddison and Cristian Romero.

Tottenham are still chasing Champions League football.
According to HITC Football, Tottenham are not shocked that Son is one of several Premier League players coveted by the Saudi Pro League.

Son’s friendship with Postecoglou, on the other hand, indicates that he is eager to sign a new contract with Tottenham and extend his stay with the club.

Son Heung-min

Spurs trail Aston Villa by five points, although they have a game in hand over Unai Emery‘s side.

They play the Villains on Sunday in a game that might have far-reaching consequences for their campaign.

While Postecoglou is still missing a few players, the team appears to have overcome the majority of its injury problems.

Following their 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace, currently sidelined defender Pedro Porro praised one of his colleagues.

However, the attacking duo of James Maddison and Son Heung-min are expected to have the most impact on whether the club returns to the Premier League’s top four.
