Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga sale will be ‘rushed through’ following the multi-million Millwall announcement

According to John Wenham, Japhet Tanganga’s Tottenham leave could be “rushed through” following Millwall transfer news.

The owner of the famous Spurs podcast, Lilywhite Rose, recently stated that Ipswich Town may compete with the Lions for Tanganga.

However, according to Alan Nixon, writing on his Patreon (19 May), Millwall are expecting interest in Zian Flemming and could accept a price of around £5 million.

And Wenham, speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, feels this money might be used to sign Tanganga.

“I had previously suggested that Tanganga might be holding out on the Millwall move,” Wenham stated.

“But I’ve seen reports that Flemming may be sold for approximately £5 million.

“If that happened, I could see Tanganga being hurried out. Whatever is holding up the transaction might be resolved swiftly with bonus payments to Tanganga.

“Therefore, if Flemming goes, then I think the Tanganga deal will be sorted pretty quickly.”

Millwall may want to sign Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga, who impressed on his loan at the Den.

It’s no surprise that Millwall and Spurs quickly agreed on a deal for the defender.

Things haven’t changed much since then, but if the Lions suddenly receive a large sum of money, it’s not impossible to assume that personal terms with Tanganga would be reached soon.

In other Tottenham news, Micky van de Ven is expected to leave the club in a lucrative contract.
