Tottenham’s summer signing not satisfied with the existing scenario and wishes to leave in January.

Alejo Veliz, Tottenham’s summer signing, is apparently looking for a loan move to Bologna during the forthcoming transfer window due to his discontent with his little game time at Spurs.

Tottenham signed Veliz from Rosario Central in the summer for a reported fee of £13 million.

The 20-year-old South American attacker is regarded as a highly rated young striker, which is why Spurs signed him as a long-term investment.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the 20-year-old South American is dissatisfied with his limited possibilities at Tottenham.

Bologna, who were interested in signing him in the summer, have now designated him as their ‘priority target’ for the striker position.

According to the report, the player would leap at the chance to join the Italian club if Tottenham gave him the go-ahead.

Richarlison underwent pelvic surgery for the Spurs, who are now dealing with an injury crisis, while Ivan Perisic and Manor Solomon remain out with long-term problems.

As a result, Spurs’ current attacking alternatives are Johnson, Son, and Kulusevski. Due to these injuries, Veliz has been given the opportunity to obtain first-team experience with the Spurs.

In January, the North London club was linked with another attacker. If they do sign one, loaning Veliz away could be an option.

He’d acquire valuable experience and consistent playing time, which would help him grow.
