Update on Randal Kolo Muani as Tottenham discusses a move internally

Although Tottenham is one of the top teams vying for Randal Kolo Muani, the Lilywhites have not taken any decisive action to finalize the deal.

Tottenham recognizes a significant potential with Kolo Muani
According to numerous reports over the past few weeks, Tottenham is among the teams vying for the £50 million striker Randal Kolo Muani, who wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in order to get consistent playing time.
Indeed, according to certain sources, the Lilywhites have already discussed a move to North London with the Frenchman’s representatives.

Spurs are one of Juventus‘ primary rivals as the Bianconeri try to lure Kolo Muani to Turin this month, according to several Italian reports just a few days ago.
Tottenham has not yet attempted to acquire Kolo Munai.
It has now been confirmed on social media by journalist Ben Jacobs that Kolo Munai would not be in Paris before the end of current transfer window.

He clarifies that although PSG would prefer a permanent sale of the French international, they are open to a loan agreement with a purchase obligation.

Jacobs lists the teams interested in signing the former Eintracht Frankfurt player as Tottenham, AC Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and RB Leipzig.

He continues by saying that although Spurs have discussed a future course of action internally, they have not yet made a firm offer to PSG for the player.
Tottenham will only look into a loan agreement.
If Spurs were to spend £50 million on a single player during this transfer window, it would be quite unexpected.

They will want to distribute their resources across a number of positions and are clearly prioritizing squad additions over high-profile signings.

However, Kolo Muani would be an excellent choice for the Lilywhites if PSG were ready to loan him out this month. Postecoglou would have frontline cover thanks to the 26-year-old’s flexibility.
