Following the recent setback against Wolves, Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski talked about coming back stronger. Spurs have been on a rollercoaster of sorts in their recent fixtures.

Two wins from their last three games is a reflection of the inconsistencies in Spurs’ results, putting Ange Postecoglou’s men in fifth, a spot and two points below Unai Emery’s Aston Villa side.

The 23-year-old told the club’s official website that they will be out of action for some time. Tottenham’s game against Chelsea was postponed due to the Blues‘ involvement in the Carabao Cup final, therefore they won’t play again until March 2nd, when they host Crystal Palace at home.

Kulusevski’s statements conveyed a feeling of hope about what lies ahead, and here is what he had to say.

“We’ve got two weeks to work. I’m looking forward to going; two weeks of training – we’ll push ourselves as hard as we can and come back stronger.”

The extra break gives Spurs significant time on the training ground to rectify any faults and fine-tune their tactics before their next match against Crystal Palace.

Kulusevski’s perspective exemplifies the attitude required to recover from setbacks. Rather than lingering on the past, he looks ahead with purpose and a will to come back stronger. This mindset is critical for preserving morale within the squad and creating confidence that they can overcome any hurdles that may arise.

As Tottenham’s season approaches a critical point, Kulusevski recognizes the importance of his role in the club. He has already proven to be a key asset for Spurs, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 26 games across all competitions. As they strive for a UEFA Champions League spot, Kulusevski’s performances on the field will be critical.

The following period of hard training will allow Deki and his colleagues to hone their talents, strengthen their teamwork, and gain better grasp of Postecoglou’s strategies.

By putting in the effort during this time, they hope to emerge invigorated and prepared to meet the challenges that lay ahead. Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski discusses coming back stronger following Wolves’ defeat.
