In their ongoing pursuit of a center back, Paris Saint-Germain is now considering players such as Diego Llorente (30) of Leeds United
According to L’Équipe, PSG has simultaneously made inquiries about Maxence Lacroix (23), of Wolfsburg, and Nayet Aguerd (27), of West Ham United.
Due to an injury to Milan Skriniar, PSG must now look for a center-back replacement. Surgery was required after the former Inter Milan defender hurt his ankle during Les Parisiens‘ triumph against Toulouse FC earlier this month. Skriniar might be sidelined for the duration of the season due to this injury.
In comparison to the club’s typical standards, PSG’s budget for a defender is low despite the need for reinforcements in other positions. As a result, long-term goals like Lény Yoro and Jean-Clair Todibo are currently seen as unachievable, and a transfer for David Hancko is likewise thought to be too costly.
Apart with Diego Llorente, who is presently on loan at AS Roma from Leeds United, PSG has also asked if Nayef Aguerd is available. Aguerd was included in the Olympique Lyonnais shortlist as well. Maxence Lacroix is another player that PSG is considering. Foot Mercato claims that Lacroix has stated that he would like to play in the Premier League.
Given the depth of the Hammers’ roster at the moment, this news will undoubtedly worry supporters, even though Aguerd is now representing his country at the Africa Cup of Nations.
