West Ham’s attempt to sign a struggling Championship winger might pose a challenge

Wilfried Gnonto of Leed is one of the numerous players who ExWHUEmployee has disclosed as a goal in recent months.

During the previous season, the Italian demonstrated flashes of brilliance for the Yorkshire-based team, managing to assist four goals and score two. Sadly, he has not been able to make an impression since their relegation, only managing to score a goal once every ten games.
Leeds may now be prepared to cash in on the young player because they believe his value will only rise, according to Sports Lens.

They reportedly turned down a bid from Everton in the summer, but they are still intrigued. They made a bid of about £25 million, but Leeds is now thought to be enticed by a bid of £30 million.

It seems like a lot to pay for someone so inexperienced, especially considering his outright awful performance this season. But if there’s no skill there at the age of 20, you don’t receive four senior caps for Italy.

A manager with experience in bringing out the best in players,  as David Moyes, might be just what Gnonto needs. Critics criticize him for not integrating young players enough, but in actuality, he is simply a very good assessor of their potential; after all, he is the guy who introduced the world to Wayne Rooney. He will give a player a chance if they are talented enough, but it is unlikely that he would spend £30 million on a prospect if he wasn’t sure he could perform to the required standards.

In the end, considering that our Irons are operating on a very tight budget and are in dire need of someone to start playing right now, it seems a little hazardous. Moyes has the final say, although there are a lot of Championship players who might be better qualified than Gnonto.
