Where Leeds United, West Brom, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and opponents are projected to finish in the Championship

A revised final forecast table for the Sky Bet Championship season of 2023–2024.

Tension in the Sky Bet Championship has increased due to recent results, particularly those from the crowded Easter weekend. The race for the title, the play-offs, and the relegation fight are all intensifying.

Although Leicester City remains atop the table, their collapse after blowing a 12-plus point lead has been extraordinary. With six games remaining, Leeds United and Ipswich Town suddenly have a real opportunity to win the league and advance to the Premier League.

Because of this, the play-offs may become even more competitive, with Leicester perhaps falling out. Though they don’t seem to be in the running for automatic promotion, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion are both comfortably positioned in the top six.

However, the last three places are still very much up for grabs, with Hull City, Norwich City, and Coventry City the primary contenders. However, Middlesbrough and Preston North End shouldn’t be written off just yet.

Rotherham United, who are reaching a certain relegation, are nearing the bottom of the standings, while Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town still have a good chance of staying up.

While Millwall, Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers, Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City, and Plymouth Argyle are fighting for their life, Birmingham City and Plymouth Argyle could still be pulled in.

With five games remaining, supporters will undoubtedly be debating how the final table might appear because there is so much to be won. However, what are the current chances? Here is how the Championship standings are expected to settle, based on data from Sky Bet.
