With Swansea having no answer to the Whites’ attack, Archie Gray chipped a superb ball into the path of Willy Gnonto, setting him on a run that saw him avoid defenders and blast into the bottom right corner.

Gnonto would seal the victory in the 72nd minute, when Summerville threaded a pass through to the striker, who raced past the defenders and fired past Rushworth.

Gnonto is a strong contender for February’s Player of the Month award, having scored four goals in four games against Bristol City and Plymouth, as well as setting up Piroe’s goal against Swansea.

Following the duel in South Wales, voting was quite clear, with Gnonto receiving 69% of the vote, followed by Archie Grey with 8% and Ilia Gruev with 8%.
