A Hollywood star Whites supporter appeared pleased with his new Leeds United acquisitions.
Russell Crowe, a Hollywood icon, arrived for a big date in Leeds, equipped with new Leeds United goods and beaming about the city and the team he supports.
The Gladiator actor and singer is now on tour with his Indoor Garden Party band, which stopped in Leeds on Thursday for an intimate performance at the Brudenell Social Club.
Speaking to ITV beforehand, Crowe expressed his pleasure at playing in front of only 400 people as a nice “change up” from places like Glastonbury, and he also showed off the new Leeds United yellow away shirts that he had purchased for himself and to give to other members of his band.
Crowe, a Whites investor as part of the 49ers Enterprises purchase, described his visit to Leeds as “great, very good.” We drove all night and arrived in the early morning. We arrived in the dark and have basically been sleeping all day. We are just over halfway through this tour, and we have been playing in some fantastic locations.”
