According to Fabrizio Romano, Muzambo has already chosen to leave Ajax and is available to sign a pre-contract agreement in January.

Muzambo, a Belgian prodigy, may be looking for a January move, and Tottenham fans will be interested to learn that he did not play for Jong Ajax on Saturday.

Muzambo was nowhere to be found against FC Eindhoven, prompting speculation that tax may sell him shortly.

Jong Ajax manager Dave Vos has debunked the leaving reports, claiming that Muzambo is unwell and unable to play.

According to Ajax Showtime, Vos said that he hasn’t heard of an official contract stance from Muzambo yet.

“He is ill, and I have not heard anything official yet,” Vos replied when questioned about a transfer. “I believe these are rumours, and I have yet to hear from the club.” We’ll miss him tonight because he’s unwell,” he continued.

Ajax appears to be waging a losing battle to keep Muzambo, with Tottenham making their bid.

Spurs will be confident of signing the wonderkid after putting a four-year agreement on the table, and while a deal at the conclusion of the season could be in the works, Tottenham could also make a January move.
