Zak Lovelace’s bid is accepted by Rangers after the Ibrox contract is rejected.

According to the Daily Record, Millwall, a Championship team, has made a proposal for Zak Lovelace, which Rangers have accepted.

On Monday morning, the two parties worked out a contract that might exceed seven figures with add-ons to finalize a move to the Den, according to the newspaper’s website [3 February].
After turning down a new deal at Ibrox in favor of a more lucrative offer south of the border, the 19-year-old is reportedly allowed to speak with his old team.

Instead of accepting a development fee in the summer, the Light Blues have now made the decision to make the most of their funds before the winter transfer window ends.

Zak Lovelace will leave the Rangers in a disappointing manner before the 11 p.m. deadline.
When Lovelace joined from Millwall in July 2022, he seemed like such a promising addition, but because of his injury-plagued time in Scotland, he is now expected to go without leaving much of an impression.

Over his nearly three years at the club, he scored 17 goals and provided seven assists in 34 appearances for the Rangers B team, although he only made eight appearances in the first squad.

Although he was far more promising than the kid the Gers signed in 2022, he is still the Lions’ second-youngest debut maker, and the Light Blues can profit greatly from the agreement.

Lovelace only made eight senior games while in Scotland, therefore if the Scottish team can get up to seven figures on a deal, it could be considered smart business during this window.
Lovelace has little room now that Vaclav Cerny, Ianis Hagi, Ross McCausland, and Oscar Cortes are all playing on the wing, and his injury history makes him unreliable.

It appears that the young player will not be a Rangers player when the window closes at 11 p.m., although supporters will be eager to watch what he performs when he returns to the Championship.

In other Rangers news, a new contract has been struck after the Gers defeated Aberdeen in a transfer deadline day.
